Designed by: IULIANO MEDIA DESIGNS

There’s nothing better than easing into the weekend with timeless classics that hit all the right emotions. This week for Flashback Friday, we’re diving into six unforgettable tracks that continue to soundtrack road trips, late-night singalongs, and nostalgic memories. From heartfelt ballads to acoustic masterpieces, these songs never get old!

1. Breathe Easy – Blue

Few early 2000s ballads captured heartbreak quite like Breathe Easy. With emotional vocals and a memorable chorus, this song became one of Blue’s biggest international hits.

🎵 Trivia You May Not Know:
The song was so popular in Italy that Blue recorded an Italian-English version titled A Chi Mi Dice with Italian singer Zucchero!

2. Back at One – Brian McKnight

Smooth, romantic, and unforgettable — Back at One remains one of the greatest R&B love songs of its era.

🎵 Trivia You May Not Know:

Brian McKnight wrote the song himself, and despite its huge success, it surprisingly never reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

5. More Than Words – Extreme

Who would’ve thought a hard rock band would deliver one of the greatest acoustic love songs ever? More Than Words became a worldwide phenomenon and still sounds magical today.

🎵 Trivia You May Not Know:
The band initially worried the song was “too soft” compared to their usual rock sound and almost didn’t release it as a single.

6. To Be with You – Mr. Big

🎵 Trivia You May Not Know:
The song was written by bassist Billy Sheehan years before Mr. Big formed and was inspired by a real-life girl he knew as a teenager.
